Homeschool South Dakota is dedicated to the cultivation, protection and promotion of Christian homeschooling and the homeschool community in the state of South Dakota.

This website is a collaboration of the FAIRSD.org (Families for Alternative Instruction Rights) and CHCSD.org (Christian Homeschool Conference of South Dakota) sites along with TEACHSD.net.

Homeschool South Dakota (HSD) was formally known as The Education Alliance of Christian Homeschoolers in South Dakota (TEACHSD) and was originally founded and known as SECHE in 2002 by like-minded home educators who desired a group where their belief and  acknowledgment of God was an integral part of the organization.
